What does B-Grade mean at von der Factory?

B-Grade items are products with minor cosmetic imperfections such as scratches, knots, small chips, or color variations. These may occur during handcrafting or test assembly. Technically and functionally, all B-Grade products are fully operational, and of course genuinely from von der Factory.

What defects can occur in B-Grade products?

Typical B-Grade defects include minor surface imperfections in the wood, light scratches on metal parts, or minimal irregularities in engravings. Every item is inspected before shipping and, despite any blemish, is a genuine designer piece with character.

Are B-Grade products technically flawless at von der Factory?

Yes, all B-Grade products are technically fully functional. Electronic components such as LEDs, dimmers, or clock movements are carefully tested before leaving our workshop.

Can I have B-Grade items personalized?

As a rule, our B-Grade products are already manufactured and therefore cannot be customized. For a personal engraving or color choice, we recommend purchasing a regular product from our standard range.

What is the delivery time for B-Grade products?

B-Grade items are immediately available and are usually shipped within 1-2 working days. Delivery is handled as usual via DHL, fast, secure, and climate-friendly. Details can be found in our shipping information.
